  • Make friendly phone calls to homebound clients
  • Sort and re-stock food
  • Clean floors and freezers
  • Extra kitchen help needed Tuesdays from 9 am - 11 am
  • Use your car to help with food pick-ups.

How to Help:

  • Saturdays
    • Help make the Food Cupboard a success by volunteering on Saturday mornings from 7:40 am – 10:15 am. Volunteers distribute food, register guests at the main desk, talk to guests as they wait in line, and more.
    • Ride with the Mobile Food Cupboard from 10 am to 1 pm and distribute food to Philly’s most under-served neighborhoods.
  • Thursdays
    • Help process shipments of food for the Cupboard on Thursdays at 5 pm.

 

Urban Affairs Coalition Thanksgiving Baskets Program

  • Stuff Thanksgiving baskets for Philly families (Volunteers must be over 14 years of age)

  • Distribute Thanksgiving baskets (must be able to lift 25 lbs)
