This year was a tremendously challenging year as pandemic relief disappeared, causing 30% of Philadelphia residents to have less to spend on groceries while food cost remained high and food distribution programs struggled to keep up with demand. As we reflect on the past year, we approach the new year with stronger internal systems, gratitude for your support, and our team’s tenacity to address the root causes of food insecurity. We are very proud of this work and what our team was able to accomplish with the support of our Hunger Fighters this year. We hope you'll take some time to read about it.
We're making progress. At the Coalition Against Hunger, we know hunger is preventable, but we all must work together to create positive change.
