Job and Internship Opportunities
Employment Opportunities
A small but energetic staff carries out the work of the Coalition. From time to time we expand our staff or have employment openings. Such opportunities will be posted here.
Americorp/VISTA Opportunities
In January of every year, the Coalition posts three Americorps*VISTA positions on the Americorps*VISTA website. During the winter months, we interview applicants and choose three college graduates who demonstrate passion for ending hunger, a willingness to work hard, and a desire to learn and grow. The positions start in August and are a year long commitment, finishing a year from the start date. Visit the VISTA site to learn about this great opportunity for a year of service with some compensation, health and travel benefits, and a cash or education award at the end of the year of service.
To locate our postings on the VISTA website, select - hunger, PA, full-time, and Americorps*VISTA
Internships
Do you have a significant amount of time to volunteer during the summer? We can work with you to design an unpaid college internship (or paid if you are eligible for off-campus work study through your college or university). Consider working as a Food Stamp Advocate with the Coalition. Call the Coalition with questions at 215-430-0555.
