Our Purpose

The Coalition serves as an information clearinghouse and a catalyst for collective action around the issue of hunger in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Our education and advocacy programs work to empower emergency food providers, to inform and mobilize concerned citizens, and to help shape public policy. Through an aggressive outreach project, we are working directly with low-income people to help them access their food stamp benefits.
