Hunger Fighter Feature: How Grace Marable and the Bethel Presbyterian Church Work to End Hunger

Grace Marable, Missions Coordinator at Bethel Presbyterian Church and Coalition Against Hunger Board Member, became involved in the anti-hunger movement in 2011 when she was handed the Bethel Presbyterian food program. Public Charge Rule UPDATE

On September 8, the Biden Administration published a final Public Charge Rule, which confirms eligible immigrant families can access and benefit from the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children), Medicaid, and housing assistance without negative repercussions to their immigration status.

Building a Movement to End Hunger with Sister Kim Kessler

Sister Kim Kessler, former pantry coordinator at the Drueding Center is a long-time supporter of the Coalition. She became involved in the anti hunger movement between 2013-2014 when she worked with the Coalition Against Hunger to establish the Drueding’s Green Light Food Pantry.
