Food Resources 101

So often one hears, "If my client is not eligible for food stamps, what other resources might I suggest?"

This one-hour workshop for social service providers and community leaders teaches about available community food and nutrition programs in the Philadelphia area. Attendees gain an understanding of programs like the Food Stamp Program, SHARE, WIC, Aid for Friends, MANNA, Senior Meals, School Meal Programs, Summer Feeding Program and local emergency feeding programs. In addition, workshops are offered in specific neighborhoods, so those who attend meet and network with others providing services in their community.
