The Coalition Against Hunger's 24th Annual
Race Against Hunger
Friday, April 17 - Monday, April 27
The 24th annual Race Against Hunger (formerly the Walk Against Hunger) is going virtual.
In the interest of the health and safety of our community, the Race is being re-imagined as a virtual event so that you can run or walk where and when it works for you between the dates of Friday, April 17 and Monday, April 27. At the Coalition, we know that those experiencing food insecurity are some of the most vulnerable in times like this. Please support our work and the work of food pantries and soup kitchens across the region through your registration and/or donation for the Race Against Hunger. We need your help now more than ever!
Registration is now open!

Each year The Race Against Hunger raises over $100,000 for anti-hunger organizations throughout our region. In 2019, those included nearly 60 food pantries and soup kitchens, who feed thousands of people each month. The Coalition created this event more than two decades ago to provide support to the hundreds of small, mostly volunteer-run pantries and soup kitchens in our region struggling to meet the needs of their communities. In that respect, the Coalition's Walk has been a huge success.
But there's another way that the event is impactful -- The Race Against Hunger brings hundreds of community members together for a day of food, fun, and entertainment. It allows us to do something important and active to end hunger right in our own neighborhoods!
Please join our Movement to end Hunger and support this important, and family-friendly event.
