Thomas' ® Walk Against Hunger
APRIL 9, 2016, SATURDAY | PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM OF ART
Walk Kickoff: 9:00AM
|(3.1 miles) on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive|
Thank you to the many people who came out to support the 2016 Thomas' Walk Against Hunger! Despite the cold, rain and snow, we were able to build a public witness against hunger as more than 100 food pantries, soup kitchens and hunger-relief agencies in the area raised funds for their programs.
As a reminder, donations will be accepted through the end of May so if you weren't able to bring money on Saturday, you still have time to turn it in.
Thank you again and stay tuned for even more pictures from the event in the coming weeks!
The Thomas' Walk Against Hunger is a fun-filled event that raises much-needed funds for more than 100 local food pantries, soup kitchens and hunger-relief agencies in Southeastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey. Together these programs help hundreds of thousands of local families put food on their tables every day.
The Thomas' Walk Against Hunger also benefits the region's leading hunger-relief agencies, including The Coalition Against Hunger, The Food Trust, SHARE Food Program and Philabundance.
