Legislative Contact Information
Each week we hope you will send a short, personal note to seven elected officials. In addition to the elected officials who represent you in Congress and in the Pennsylvania General Assembly we believe that two other officials need to hear from you.
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter has the ability to convene many important players and ensure that our anti-hunger efforts are more strategic. Congressman Bob Brady represents the second hungriest congressional district in the country. As many of his constituents are struggling day in and day out to feed their families, it is important that we draw attention to the problem of hunger on their behalf.
Addresses for many of these officials are below. To look up contact info. for the officials specific to your district (your State Senator, State Rep., and U.S. Congressional Rep.) simply type their name into any search engine. If you do not know who your elected officials are, many advocacy groups can help – including Lutheran Advocacy Ministry (www.lutheranadvocacypa.org).
