Taste of the Nation Philadelphia is proud to announce its exciting 2010 line up of restaurants and other culinary participants. The efforts of their renowned chefs will help take a bite out of childhood hunger during the Taste of the Nation fundraiser at the Loews Hotel’s Millennium Ballroom on June 21. 10 Arts Bistro & Lounge by Eric Ripert’s chef de cuisine and recent Bravo Top Chef Finalist, Jennifer Carroll, will lend her talents as Chef Chair for the event.
This year’s participants include 10 Arts Bistro & Lounge by Eric Ripert, Amis, Bindi, Blackfish Restaurant, The Capital Grille, City Tavern, Cochon, Derek's, Fish, Fond, Fork Restaurant, Lacroix, Le Castagne, Marigold Kitchen, Meme, Mercato, Oyster House, The South Philadelphia Tap Room, Union Trust, Valanni, Varga Bar and West End Bistro by Eric Ripert.
Along with select wine and beers from Stella Artois, Hoegaarden and Leffe, guests will enjoy specialty cocktails by local mixologists representing Amada, APO Bar + Lounge and more.
100 percent of ticket sales help ensure that no kid in America grows up hungry. Generous support is provided by national sponsors American Express, Sysco, Food Network, Brown-Forman Corporation and Stella Artois, along with our local sponsors S. With more than a quarter of residents living below the poverty line in Philadelphia, funds raised through Taste of the Nation are more crucial than ever.
