PHILADELPHIA BUSINESS JOURNAL: Stroehmann campaign raises $100K for Coalition Against Hunger

The Greater Philadelphia Coalition against Hunger said Tuesday it has received more than $100,000 from the Stroehmann Nourishing Neighbors campaign.
In the campaign, which ran for four weeks in October and November, the coalition received 10 cents from every purchase of Stroehmann King or Dutch Country bread in an Acme Markets or Giant Food Stores supermarket in southeastern Pennsylvania.
The money will fund the coalition’s Victory in Partnership project, which is meant to provide food pantries and soup kitchens with more funding, food, volunteers, technology and training.
