On the Frontline

This quarterly newsletter features useful information for emergency food program coordinators---those "on the frontline" working at local food cupboards and soup kitchens to provide food to neighbors struggling to put food on their tables. Read it to find out about resources available to help clients, what happened at past First Tuesdays, funding opportunities, and what other emergency food providers are doing in their communities to fight hunger. Call (215-430-0555) or email (tsen@hungercoalition.org) Tanya Sen if you would like to be added to the mailing list.

Hunger Feedback

A fall-issued bulletin. The face of hunger is not always recognized, nor are the opportunities that enable citizens to participate in a solution. This annual publication will help you understand the issue of hunger by defining the problem, identifying the pockets of hunger in this land of plenty, and recommending specific actions that will ease the pain. An excellent tool for moving people from merely giving food as a charitable act to viewing access to food as a basic human right.
