Tools for Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen Teams

Walk Team Through the Walk+Run Against Hunger, you can raise funds for your food pantry or soup kitchen to purchase the food and resources you need to better serve your clients.

Once you have registered your team, use the following materials to kick off your fundraising.

  • Team Starter Kit: A handy guide to kick off your fundraising efforts, including tips on reaching out to businesses, recruiting team members and a must-have calendar of important dates. 

  • Community Bulletin: Use this half-page flier to spread the word about the Walk+Run. Insert it into your church bulletins, workplace newsletters, school newsletters or distribute it at other community centers and events.

  • Fundraising Letter to Businesses: Ask local businesses to support your program. Start with people you know or businesses in your own neighborhood. All donations to the Walk+ Run are tax-deductible.

  • Contribution Form: Additional form for tracking your donations and pledges.
