Since our founding in 1996, we’ve held an annual 5K to elevate the visibility of food insecurity, to raise funds to support our work, and to provide a platform for our local pantry and soup kitchen partners to do the same. With the increasing cost of food, the loss of extra SNAP due to the end of pandemic Emergency Allotments, and the decrease of resources available at Philadelphia food banks, we are hearing even more need for resources. Join us at the Race Against Hunger 5K on September 28, 2024. Walk, run or participate virtually, and help strengthen food access across Philadelphia!
