SNAP Income Guidelines

If your monthly income is less than the amount listed for your household size, you may be eligible for SNAP benefits. Download this flyer to see the income guidelines and for information on how we can help if you think you might be eligible or want to apply.

Apply For SNAP On Your Own

While you can always call our SNAP Hotline (215-430-0556), you may not want to wait to connect with a SNAP counselor or prefer to apply on your own. You can apply through COMPASS, the state’s benefits portal. Here is a guide to assist you through the process.

SNAP for College Students

College students who are working 20 hours a week OR have a federal work-study position OR meet other exceptions may be eligible for SNAP benefits. Learn more about eligibility and how to apply.

SNAP for Non-Citizens

You may be eligible for SNAP if you are a refugee/asylee OR Lawful Permanent Resident and have had a green card for 5+ years OR receive disability benefits. Your child may qualify for SNAP even if you yourself do not. Learn more about eligibility and how to apply.

SNAP Benefits Replacement

Summer Resources

SUN Bucks (Summer EBT)

SUN Bucks is a new permanent federal child nutrition program aimed at keeping kids fed during the summer months when they are not in school. Eligible children will receive an EBT card that can be used to purchase groceries.

Free Summer Meals for Kids

Families can locate free summer meal sites for kids 18 and younger with our Summer Meals Map and our Summer Meals Hotline (1-215-770-4659). Please share these resources with your network to connect families with free nutritious meals and snacks while school is out. Help us keep kids fueled for the summer!
